COVID-19 Safety at the Harris Center

Safety Requirements Updated November 11, 2022

The Harris Center for the Arts and Folsom Lake College are committed to providing healthy and safe facilities for audiences, performers, volunteers, and staff.

Masks are strongly recommended at the Harris Center for the Arts, regardless of your vaccination status. Los Rios strongly supports any patron, volunteer or employee’s choice to continue wearing masks if it makes them more comfortable. For those wearing masks, public health experts continue to recommend using masks such as N95, KN95, or surgical masks that offer the best fit and filtration.

Los Rios Vaccine Requirement to be Lifted for the Harris Center

At their October 19, 2022 meeting, the Los Rios Board of Trustees voted to end the Los Rios Community College District’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement as soon as practicable. The vaccine requirement will be lifted beginning on Monday, November 14.

The Harris Center will no longer require vaccine proof or a negative COVID test to purchase a ticket to a show or attend any event at the theater.

Los Rios will continue to heed all relevant guidance and requirements from state and local public health experts relating to measures to mitigate the spread of infection. As we have consistently over the past several years, if public health guidance changes then we will respond accordingly.

Thank you for your patience during the pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic is fluid and ever-changing. Current safety protocols will be re-assessed on an ongoing basis and may be modified at any time as circumstances, public health regulations and federal, state, and local guidelines may evolve.
