From the thrilling adventure of Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark to the wonder of E.T., the suspense of Jaws, the majesty of Jurassic Park, and the heroism of Superman, Williams’s iconic scores have captivated audiences for generations. Widely regarded as one of the greatest film composers of all time, his music continues to inspire with its emotional depth, memorable melodies, and cinematic power.

The evening begins with an elegant pre-concert reception from 5:30–7:00pm, featuring food, wine, and other beverages. At 7:30pm, guests will then enjoy The Best Movie Scores of John Williams, a spectacular live performance by the Folsom Lake Symphony.

This special event also celebrates an important milestone in the Harris Center’s history. When the Harris Center opened 15 years ago, the Folsom Lake Symphony was the very first organization to perform on its stage. Together, we honor that shared legacy while experiencing some of the most beloved music ever written for the screen.

Proceeds from The Crystal Affair will support essential Harris Center facility improvements, benefiting both the venue and its resident orchestra, the Folsom Lake Symphony.
