Big Day of Giving – Thursday, May 7, 2026

Starting April 23

We’re excited to kick off our 2026–27 fundraising season with the annual Big Day of Giving, a 24-hour online celebration of generosity across the Sacramento region!

From 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on Thursday, May 7, your support can make an even greater impact. Thanks to a generous $27,500 matching fund, every dollar donated to the Folsom Lake Symphony—up to the first $27,500—will be matched dollar for dollar.

And there’s more: donations made using a Golden 1 Credit Union card will receive an additional partial match, helping your gift go even further.

Why Your Support Matters

Your contributions help us fulfill our mission to inspire and build community through the power of symphonic music. Funds raised will support both our core operations and our expanding community enrichment programs, including:

  • Free outdoor concerts
  • Music education in local schools
  • Senior outreach programs
  • Family Concert & Instrument Petting Zoo
  • Young Artist Competition

Can’t Donate on May 7?

No problem! Early giving begins April 23, and those donations will also count toward the matching fund.

We are deeply grateful to our matching fund donors—Art and Linda Grix, James and Marilyn McCurdy, and Bob and Gail Stroh—for their continued generosity and support of the Folsom Lake Symphony.

Join us in making music accessible to all—your gift truly makes a difference.

Donate starting April 23 and help us reach our goal!
